Dr. Simon Raby is a dedicated growth strategist, advisor, professor, and author passionate about unlocking leadership and organisational potential. He leads the Growth Catalyst programme, based on the Seven Scaling Strategies©, helping businesses achieve significant growth. Simon also serves as the Associate Director of the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Mount Royal University, where he focuses on transformational learning and innovation. He also leads the Canada-based ScaleUp Week, which aims to support Canadian and MSMEs (micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises) worldwide.
Simon's enthusiasm for the research presented by Research Stream 2 was evident. He was particularly intrigued by the exploration of micro, meso, and macro perspectives being investigated and by the potential impact the findings could have on local businesses and global competitiveness. The session provided the team with practical direction, incorporating feedback from businesses Dr. Raby works with. He also offered initial thoughts on what would be impactful for both practice and academia within the projects.
